Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data FutureProofQuiz ("we") collects through FutureProof and how we use it. We are the data controller for assessment data. Paddle.com acts as Merchant of Record and controls payment data under its own privacy policy.

What we collect

• Your answers to the assessment, your chosen language and the results we calculate from them.
• Whether you purchased a Report, and the Paddle transaction ID.
• Usage statistics: which pages you view, which buttons you click, how far you get in the test and how long each question takes. These are recorded without cookies and without storing your IP address — visitors are counted with a one-way code derived from the IP address and browser type that changes every day, so it can't be used to recognise you over time.
• General context for those statistics: your country (from your IP address), device type (phone, tablet or computer) and the website or ad campaign that referred you.

We do not ask for your name to take the test. Your email address and payment details are collected by Paddle at checkout, not stored by us.

How we use it

• To calculate your results and generate your Report (performance of a contract).
• To understand how the test is used and improve it, using aggregated statistics (legitimate interest). We do not sell this data or use it for advertising profiles.

Processors

• Anthropic — generates the Report from your answers. Your answers are sent to their API for this purpose.
• Vercel — hosting.
• Upstash — database storage of results.
• Paddle — payments, invoicing and tax.

Cookies

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and our usage statistics work without cookies. We store your language choice in a cookie and your quiz progress in your browser so you can resume. Paddle may set cookies needed to process payment.

Retention

We keep results and Reports for up to 24 months so you can return to them, then delete them. Aggregated usage statistics are kept for up to 13 months.

Your rights

Under GDPR and similar laws you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and you can complain to your local data protection authority. Email support@futureproofquiz.com with your result or report id.
